In addition to teaching at the Peabody Conservatory and Mount Saint Mary’s University, giving masterclasses around the world, and my history of working with other groups and institutions such as the Peabody Preparatory, Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony’s OrchKids, Educational Center for the Arts (CT), and Spirit of America (MA), I also maintain a private teaching studio in Baltimore and in certain cases will teach remotely via video. I work with students of all ages and abilities, sometimes with a general progression through concepts and repertoire, and other times towards specific auditions and goals. My students have gone on to acceptance in regional bands and orchestras, as well as some of the nation’s top music schools, including Vanderbilt’s Blair School of Music, the Yale School of Music, and the Juilliard School.
